GoHighLevel sidebar menu styles that shorten the walk

CSRs open the same six screens all day. The customizer’s GoHighLevel sidebar menu styles move the menu where it suits your screens, fold long sections into mega menus and float a quick menu over every page.

Definition

What can you change in GoHighLevel navigation?

In short

Where the menu sits, how sub-menus open, how the header looks, and whether a quick menu floats over every page. What each user is allowed to open is still decided by GoHighLevel.

  1. Choose the layout

Left sidebar, right sidebar, top bar or a top bar merged with the header.

  2. Pick sub-menu and header styles

Plain lists or one of 8 mega-menu styles; one of 8 header styles and, for top bars, 8 bar styles.

  3. Add the quick menu

Optionally switch on the floating quick menu (3 layouts, 8 designs) with the pages your team opens most.

FAQ

Menu and navigation questions

Menus sit inside your theme; change one without losing the other.

Can you change the GoHighLevel sidebar menu?
Yes. The customizer can move the GoHighLevel menu to the right or into a top bar, collapse it to icons, and turn long sub-menus into mega menus in 8 styles. It changes presentation only; GoHighLevel’s permissions still decide who sees which items.
What is a mega menu in GoHighLevel?
Instead of a long list that pushes the rest of the sidebar down, a mega menu opens a panel with all of a section’s pages at once, for example everything under Sites or Marketing, grouped in columns. Hover Sites in the preview to see it.
What is the floating quick menu?
A small launcher that floats over every page with shortcuts to the screens your team uses most: conversations, calendars, contacts, opportunities. It comes in 3 layouts (bubble with a grid, dock bar or side rail) and 8 designs, and staff can drag it out of the way.
Will hiding or moving menu items break permissions?
No. The customizer never grants access to anything. If a user role cannot open a page in GoHighLevel, a new menu style does not change that.
Is a top-bar layout better for an insurance office?
It depends on screens. Top bars free horizontal space for wide pipeline boards and contact tables on laptops; a left sidebar suits large monitors and people who live in the menu. The preview lets your team try both before you decide.
What are announcements?
Also in Full Cover: a banner you can show to your team or to sub-account users, for example office hours over a holiday or a reminder about a carrier’s new submission portal.
Which package includes menus and mega menus?
Full Cover at $537 once. Essential Cover already lets you choose a sidebar or top-bar layout through the themes; mega menus, header styles and the floating quick menu start in Full Cover.
Can sub-account users adjust the menu themselves?
Full Cover includes sub-account self-service styling, so you can let a client agency adjust its own look within the limits you set.
